| Just doing some short term testing will not harm it at all. With o-rings on the bolt you will see quite a bit of wear of time so this is no big deal. |

Youd only be test firing a couple shots.
As long as the bolt slides out of the top tube, say, as you tip the gun backwards, then Id say that the bolt O-rings are NOT the issue. _________________ "There's nothing you can do that can't be done." Having said that, there's a lot you can't do. |

Okay, so i took out the hammer, cocking rod, & spring an put the bolt back in. It slid out easily when tipped the gun back, so I think the rings aren't swollen.
I stretched the hammer ring out a little and it seemed to work better, but it would still do a double-shot (this is w/o paint). I'll try it outside with paint in the hopper when it's a bit later so that I don't make the neighbors angry
In case I do need to file down the valve stem, what kind of file will I need? How fine will I need the teeth? _________________ All out 'till fallout. |

| Go with a pretty fine file. You only need to take a little off the flats to get where you need to be. |

Looks like it's working! I had a spare valve pin/cup seal (it came with the part kit I ordered) and filed it down some. I stretched out the blue hammer o-ring again, and it seemed to work just fine.
Tried it with my hand over the barrel port, then without it there and it only double-fired once, and then it was firing like a champ. Put paint in and fired, it did just fine. Then i put the barrel back on and it was back in action. Probably went through 20-30 rounds without a mishap.
Is there further testing I need to do, or are we done?
You guys are AWESOME! I really appreciate your help on this. _________________ All out 'till fallout. |

No, that should solve the problem.
If the burping returns, then another quick stretch of the hammer O-ring should be all thats needed.
Your welcome back anytime.
This forum covers pretty much all aspects of paintball, and is occupied by a great bunch of players from all over.
