Yes it is a sign of the state of paintball and the US economy as a whole. But Smart Parts did more to stunt the growth of paintball then grow it. Just think how bad their business had to be if the are collecting all of those royalties with no overhead and still fail. With all of their BS actions they created a lot of bad PR for the company and it hurt them more then collecting royalty checks helped in the long run. Sorry but I won't be crying for them.

yeah... not going to be crying for them being gone either, however it's still bad news. I definitely do not applaud their business practices.
